Product Launch: WireFree Li-ion Zigbee Solar Panel 

We're excited to introduce Somfy's latest addition to our Smart Shading offer, the new WireFree Li-ion Zigbee Solar Panel Kit [9029114]. Designed for seamless compatibility with all Smart Shading WireFree motors, the new solar panel features a USB-C connector and redefines low-maintenance convenience.

When installed correctly in an area with adequate sunlight, the Smart Shading Solar Panel can extend battery autonomy by up to five years, significantly reducing the need for manual recharging.

With this enhanced efficiency, you can offer clients a longer-lasting, hassle-free shading solution that delivers both convenience and sustainability.

Designed with aesthetics and versatility at the forefront, it comes with an adjustable cable (50mm to 700mm) and 2 mounting options; Glass face mount using an adhesive strip (included in the kit) or a separate wall bracket option (sold separately [9029127] available from August 2025).

It is important to know, the WireFree Li-ion Solar Panel Kit contains an isopropyl alcohol cleaning wipe for convenient installation. This classifies the product as a dangerous good for all air shipments. If an air shipment is planned, a Dangerous Goods Appraisal Certificate needs to be obtained, and Commodity Inspection needs to be carried out for each shipment.
