Dear Valued Somfy Customers, Partners and Friends,

As we welcome the start of Q3, it’s hard to believe it’s been more than two months since our Smart Shading Roadshows. We were pleased to see such a strong turnout of customers, partners, and Somfy Experts to experience a preview of our latest leap forward into a connected future.

By now, you will have seen our launch of Smart Shading Solutions with Zigbee 3.0 technology go live. You may have even participated in our introductory webinars in June. We’re thrilled to provide such an innovative and comprehensive range of products with dedicated services tailored to supporting professionals – from manufacturing to installation, and also after-sales support. The focus of the months ahead is to support our customers with training and delivery of the new Smart Shading offer. Both designed to provide a seamless and hassle-free experience for all in the value chain, right through to the end user.

Our team is currently rolling out newly updated point of sales materials to all our Somfy Retail Expert Partners and upgrading showrooms. This will include the latest Smart Shading solutions, allowing consumers to experience the comfort-driven ecosystem firsthand.

In the meantime, read more about the exciting Smart Shading launch and get up to speed with Zigbee 3.0 and Apple HomeKit compatibility with TaHoma Switch.  

At BMAA Board level, Q2 saw the review and release of the member survey, release of the energy efficiency report and announcement of the new strategic plan, which will advocate and benefit all in the window shading industry over the next three years.

Back in Rydalmere, we are thrilled to have our BFT team join us on-site as a converged team and are now fully operational with third-party logistics (3PL) for all brands. Since going live for Somfy in March, we have seen our delivery timelines improve and are pleased with the feedback on our customer service rate and webstore stock reliability.

The recent downturn in retail foot traffic may provide an opportunity to grow and learn with training on the latest offering and get geared up for high season with our suite of Smart Shading assets.

Supply remains strong, and we are well-equipped to support you coming into the busy season in the following months. We are ready with dedicated training, technical support, and an end-user-focused digital campaign that supports and benefits all our partners. As such, we are seeing higher quality leads being shared with our Retail Expert Partners and higher conversion rates.
