Dear Valued Customers and Somfy Friends,
Welcome to the final edition of Motoreyes for 2024—my last as Managing Director for Somfy Oceania. As I reflect on a fantastic 12-year journey, I feel immense pride in what we have achieved together and confidence in the exciting future ahead for Somfy.
As the festive season is now in full swing, I hope this finds you preparing for a well-deserved break. Please stay safe and enjoy time with loved ones during this busy period.
Reflecting on 2024, it has been another significant year for Somfy. A key highlight was connecting with many of you at our Smart Shading Roadshow events, where we proudly showcased our latest innovations, including the TaHoma suite and Zigbee 3.0 technology.
We also completed some landmark projects, such as the convergence with BFT Automation and the transition to third-party logistics for both Somfy and BFT brands. These enhancements reflect our commitment to delivering best-in-class service. If you’d like to learn more about BFT, you can visit their website.
Our focus on supply chain improvements and business growth has enabled us to carry additional stock and meet supply demands during peak periods. This includes our newest range of motors and accessories featuring Zigbee 3.0 technology. Many of you are already onboarded to TaHoma pro and are well-equipped to leverage these innovative solutions.
Looking ahead to 2025, we are excited to share upcoming product releases, events, and campaigns. Stay tuned for updates from our incoming General Manager, Henri Laniece, who is eager to continue building strong partnerships and driving Somfy’s success with you.
As we approach the new year, I’d like to remind you of an important update. Effective 1st January 2025, there will be a 3.0% price adjustment on all motors, electronics, and accessories as part of the Somfy group global price policy. This marks our first adjustment in several years. Earlier this year, we reduced costs on remote controls to further support your business, and we remain committed to providing competitive value. As I prepare for my final month with Somfy, I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to our loyal customers and dedicated Somfy staff for your unwavering support throughout 2024.
