GM's Update - March 2025

Dear Valued Somfy Customers, Partners and Friends,

I am thrilled to be embarking on this incredible journey with Somfy Oceania and open this first edition of Motoreyes for 2025. Personally, moving to a new continent is a big step, especially with two young children, but the adventure has been nothing short of exciting! The initial two weeks of seamless knowledge transfer from Stephen Eggleton has served as a fantastic introduction to this vibrant market.

Over the past two months, I’ve had the privilege of meeting many of our valued customers.  Building these relationships has not only enhanced my understanding of the unique needs of the market in Oceania but has also energised our commitment to delivering reliable and superior service. Here at Somfy, we pride ourselves on innovation and excellence, and we enter this year with high ambitions to further elevate our offering in automation.

Our team embodies these values, and I am dedicated to ensuring we deliver exceptional service as a cohesive unit. In the past two months, we’ve welcomed four new members to the team. This growth is vital as it strengthens our on-ground presence and enhances our customer service capabilities, ensuring we provide continuity in our electrical services in Sydney.

Moreover, our operations with Geodis, our 3PL (Third Party Logistics) warehouse are progressing smoothly. We are continually refining our processes to ensure timely deliveries, a crucial aspect of our service that we've seen improve month after month. This reliability is something we deeply value and strive to maintain.

In addition to service enhancements, I am excited to announce the release of new and enhanced products. These innovations not only bolster our existing offering in battery-operated and Zigbee solutions, but also reinforces our commitment to providing innovative, sustainable and forward-looking technology, tailored to customer needs.

Looking ahead, I eagerly anticipate meeting more of you in the coming months. These interactions are not just connections; they are opportunities to understand your businesses better and tailor our services to meet your needs effectively.

As we embrace the Autumn season, I wish you all success and prosperity in your endeavours.

Warm regards,

Henri Laniece
